Planning:Treatment of our film Opening
Video: During the opening two minutes of our film the viewers will see the main character (Joshua) kidnap his victim (Haydon). Josh finds Haydon but to capture him he must first catch him. Haydon is being chased by Josh through a forest that is in the middle of no where.
Audio: The audio that will be heard in the opening sequence will be both diegetic and non diegetic. The diegetic sounds will consist of car engine's, screaming and the sound of a car driving on stones. The non diegetic sounds will be music, which will be used to create more suspense during the scene to get the audience more engaged. Any other sounds in the clip will not be intentional however we are recording outside so there may be other sounds picked up by our camera.
Title: Our film production company name will appear on the screen as will the director, editor, camera men and cast members.

Planning:Casting
In the film there will be two characters Josh and Ryan. Josh was very depressed in the past due to being bullied on a daily basis. Now he has turned evil and wishes death upon all those who have done him wrong in the past, he takes matters into his own hands and hunts for anyone who ever bullied them and kills them himself. Ryan himself has also changed. When he was at school he used to be the most popular student and everyone looked up to him and would laugh at anything he said or done, but once Ryan got into year 11 he changed at first his future was very uncertain of where it would take him but he changed and planned ahead for his future, which he did go on to build. Ryan wanted his own business which he got. He never looks down on anyone like he did to Josh, he respects everyone around him and tries his best to help everyone when they need it but due to past experiences Josh doesn't know the good side of Ryan, furthermore he doesn't care as he's just out for revenge.
Planning: Mise-en-Scene For Our Opening
Costume:
Josh - The character of Josh will wear all black clothes. As he is the villain in the film he will be dressed in dark clothes as many criminals dress in dark clothes to blend in and avoid detection. He will wear a black hoodie and black joggers. The hood will be up for the whole of the opening so the audience don't see the characters face adding suspense and it will leave the audience wondering who the villain is. Also, Josh will wear a mask to hide his face and add mystery to the scene as it will make people wonder who he actually is.
Ryan - The character of Ryan will wear normal teen clothes. He will wear jeans and a jacket. This will show that Ryan is your everyday kid.
Props:
Watch - We will need a watch in our film opening. This is because Ryan will be wearing it for part of the opening. Then it will fall off and the character of Josh will pick it up and use it to find him later on.
Hockey Stick - We will need a hockey stick for the character Josh. It will be his weapon of choice to knock out his victims before abducting them.
